Assassin’s Creed Valhalla can’t stop disappointing fans. The game hyped everyone when its trailer was released. Afterward, Ubisoft and Xbox told fans that there will be more gameplay footage and stuff in their event. However, none of that happened, and fans were pissed over the same cinematic footage.
Similarly today, Ubisoft has told Eurogamer Portugal that Assassin’s Creed Valhalla will run at 30 FPS on the upcoming Xbox Series X.
“Ubisoft has always been committed to exploring new technologies, taking advantage of the capabilities of new consoles to deliver the most immersive experience possible, which is why we are excited to be collaborating with Microsoft to bring Assassin’s Creed Valhalla to the Xbox Series X,” the Google-translated statement reads.
“Currently, we can guarantee that Assassin’s Creed Valhalla will run at least 30 FPS. Assassin’s Creed Valhalla will benefit from faster loading times, allowing players to immerse themselves in history and the world without friction. Finally, Assassin’s Creed Valhalla will benefit of improved graphics made possible by the Xbox Series X, and we can’t wait to see the beautiful world we’re creating in stunning 4K resolution.
“We will have a lot more to show you about Assassin’s Creed Valhalla in the near future, so stay tuned for more information soon!”
Fans are once again disappointed over the news and most of them are blaming Xbox. Well, I don’t think you should blame Xbox, because this “at least 30fps” thing will happen due to bad optimization. Ubisoft always had issues with optimizing Assassin’s Creed Titles. This can go all the way back to Assassin’s Creed Unity. I’m waiting for what performance PS5 will offer on the same game.
